So, it’s been a while but that’s a good thing! Why? Because we’ve been busy!!! We are slowly but surely gaining users as well as advertisers. We really need to work on getting our message out on what MyKidzKonnection can do. It is very difficult in this day of 140 characters or less.
In a nutshell I think we are the anti-Facebook. How? First, there are similarities; of course you can post updates and become “friends” with people but really it ends there. MyKidzKonnection is safe and private. We don’t share your information with others and never will.
It’s also for a very targeted group; Parents with kids under the age of 12. And our goal is completely different, we want to help parents and those who work with children communicate and share in an easy online way.
Whether you upload pictures to your child’s class group from field day, or a school needs to share digital projects with their student’s parents or something as simple as sending out invitations for a birthday party; that’s what MyKidzKonnection is all about.
We will be adding more functionality as needed, if you have an idea that can help you or your group please let us know. Recently we were asked for a project management program to be added by a PTO, coming this August we will be offering it!

Finding that where there is will there is definitely a way…We are the true definition of a Bootstrap Startup and you know what? It feels great! No money for a programmer and I certainly don’t know code but we found a way to create a functional (albeit not super pretty) website. Check us out and join (it’s free). Today was a good day, we had 15 visits to our new site and are up to 25 Fans on our Facebook page! The little accomplishments will lead to bigger ones, step by step….
